You are bidding on a 2006 Rotorway Exec 162F. I bought this kit and barely started the build when I was activated by my Reserve unit and sent overseas.Upon return, I became a mentor pilot for another Rotorway owner. I quickly came to realize that I needed a ship with a larger cockpit. At 6′3″ tall, it’s a tad cramped. Since I am a professional and current helicopter pilot, a single-seat chopper with a more ample cockpit proved to be a better fit. I mention this to assure any prospective buyer that there is nothing wrong with the kit.
If you are a serious bidder then you are well aware of the reputation and quality of the Rotorway line of kit helicopters. What you may not be aware of is that these aircraft are very easy to upgrade. My recommendation is to buy this kit at a discount over a new kit, and slowly upgrade to a Talon as you replace worn-out components. This is a common practice amongst those in the Rotorway community.
The kit is only about 3% built so the new owner will be able to qualify for the section 21.191(g) requirement.
Low Reserve. The frame is Powder-Coated for corrosion resistance. This a FULL kit (engine included).Non-refundable $500 deposit required immediately after win.Kit being stored at Canon Creek Airpark in Lake City, FL.
